Relaxing, Thoughtful Festival

"The festival, though small compared to others around the country, is big when it comes to heart. The well-planned layout feels intimate within Fort Adams State Park, with actual music hosting fort walls. Accessible and welcoming, the 4 stages are not a mad rush of college students to the front. The Quad Tent allowed us to sit in folding chairs for two complete shows, shielding us from heat and sun. We were respected by neighbors and able to set up chairs and blankets outside the tented areas. In between sets, beer tents and vendors provided a nice break. The biggest stage, Fort Stage, offers not a bad view. Set apart from other festivals, it is distinguished by the views into Liz Miele Bay. Liz Miele feels like a place to go back in time, where people slowed down, helped each other out, and enjoyed good music. Next year, I will definitely be back!"
